Riding
For The Disabled
Meet Poppy

one of the
ponies selected for Riding for the Disabled to help our children
to compete in Regional and National Dressage and hopefully train
them for future Paralympics
We
have two Riding for the Disabled Groups based at The
Wyke ~
The Wyke Riding for Disabled
& Brocton Court Group.
Both groups use
the ponies and Instructors based at The Wyke Equestrian Centre and both groups have made it possible for young disabled riders to have the opportunity of lessons,
riding in the outdoors and competition.
All funding is raised by the volunteers that run the
groups. We receive many donations for which we thank the many donors and use the money to
fund the lessons and send the children, instructors
and helpers to national and international competitions.
We
are always looking for helpers to lead ponies
and walk by the children as side helpers. If you think you can help please contact us
we would be very grateful of your help.
