Riding Lessons

‘A Sensitive Approach to Riding Training’

The Wyke Equestrian Centre is an equestrian complex first established in 1968 by its present owners. The facilities have expanded since then and development is still taking place in our search for equestrian excellence in facilities, environment and equines. Our instruction is based on classical riding, lightness, ease and harmony.  We aim to teach sensitivity, lightness of the signals and balance of the rider at all levels. Tuition is given by a team of instructors trained to teach to a high standard. We believe that friendliness and a pleasant environment together with quality horses are vital ingredients in encouraging clients to strive for “horsemanship”.  The Wyke is approved by  The Association of British Riding Schools and The British Horse Society.
